creating ESL lessons

At some point ESL online teachers all have to ask themselves, ‘Am I willing to write lessons?’  Lets explore this concept… Should an individual consider writing lessons for the right amount of pay?  Is it possible to keep up with the teaching workload  and also writing lessons daily?  Is the higher pay wroth it if I have to teach and write lessons?  My answer to all of the above is simple…  No, no and no.

My opinion is based on my first hand experience.  And everyone will have a different outlook on this to be sure.  Teaching online comes with a list responsibilities that have to be dealt with daily.  Online teachers spend a great deal of time, scheduling, in meetings, dealing with technical issues, filtering through student questions and filling out sometimes involved student reports for every single student.  If writing lessons is added to an already busy list it can be a lot.
